API updated documentation

As a Collins customer,
I want clear, consistent, and up-to-date API documentation,
So that I know exactly how to access available data, especially when new features or fields are released.

Additional context:
Right now, new data points (e.g. guest profiles, custom fields) may be available in the product but it’s unclear how to query them via the API. This makes reporting and CRM integrations difficult.

    While going through our data validation process on the data we have now extracted into our data lake via the Collins API, we are finding that some data we expect is not coming through:

    • completed date is missing for a significant number of bookings (although many are auto confirmed I would still expect a completed date)

    • no status change history so we can't see when a booking was created then moved to in progress and then completed or cancelled/deleted

    • no custom field values currently able to be queried

    • Everything that is either exposed in the download or part for the history tab of a booking is not available in the API
