Remove Legacy Users

Hi, We remove users by marking inactive, however these users stay on the admin panel forever, as GDPR best practice it would be useful if these inactive users were completely removed after a certain period of time e.g. 12 months

    Great news — this idea has been implemented! 🎉

    We're introducing automatic anonymisation of inactive user profiles after a configurable period of time, helping you stay compliant with GDPR best practices.

    You'll be able to configure this directly in the Admin Tool — choosing from a range of options between 2 and 7 years. If no configuration is made, a default of 3 years will be applied automatically.

    This will be released in two phases — first the settings, then the full process including migration of already inactive users. Keep an eye out for more details in our release notes: Release notes — August 2026 | CPL Learning Help Centre
