Currently, the EPOS data import relies on the Rota Start Time setting to allocate sales data to specific dates. For instance, if the Rota Start time is configured to commence at 5 am, any sales data recorded between 00:01 and 04:59 am that morning is erroneously attributed to the previous day rather than the actual date the sales occurred.
As a result, manual corrections are required to rectify this misallocation. However, these corrections are overwritten during the subsequent data import, perpetuating the issue. This inconsistency in data allocation is disrupting resource planning efforts and undermining the accuracy of our sales reporting.
To address this challenge, we propose implementing a solution that ensures sales data is accurately assigned to the correct date without manual intervention, thereby enhancing the reliability of our resource planning processes and sales reporting accuracy.
