Information field on Education & Qualifications Screen

We use the Education & Qualifications screen a lot to record work-related qualifications, which need renewing every 2 or 3 years. Sometimes our employees do not re-train in the qualification, but there seems to be nowhere to record this. We do not want to delete the qualification even if it is no longer effective, as we want to keep a record, but we would like to be able to show that they are not re-training. There is an Information section which we are unable to populate - this would be ideal as we could add something in there. Is this possible?
