To allow for site specific notes to be added to each site PMV type, these notes to be appended to the order when issued

Access to the roof mounted fan and ductwork is via an access hatch above a removable section of the suspended ceiling outside of the staffroom. Despite relaying this message to the contractor on email prior, the information was not disseminated to the site operates. The engineers when turning up late at night, have not idea as there are only cleaners on site. This means duct not cleaned, even though access was easy, had they known. As duct cleaning occurs frequently, it is down to user memory to yet again message the contractor on the hope he gets the message to the engineers. If this message could be stamped on the PMV order then it would be clear on each visit.

We found a small gas boiler on the escape staircase. The contractor for the last 5 years has turned up and serviced the gas boiler but knew nothing of this one on the escape stair. If we had the ability to add notes, then we can have provided a simple statement to state "Service of 2nr boilers. 1 is located in the roof void above the kitchen, the other at 1st floor level in the front fire escape".
