Supporting Gov.UK Doc on what is required. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/record-f-gas-in-equipment-you-own-or-service
Based on additional research the following fields are What to record
Equipment: Identity of the equipment and its location.
Gas: Quantity and type of F-gas installed initially and added later.
Service: Details of any servicing, maintenance, or disposal.
Leak checks: Dates and results of all leak checks and any leak detection system checks.
Recovery: Quantity of gas recovered during maintenance and final disposal.
Technician: Name of the company and technician who performed the work.
Disposal: Name of the registered waste carrier if gas is disposed of.
You must keep records for 5 years
would be very useful
Excellent idea - don't know why its not there already - ideal to have all details on one portal
Would love to see the below come into life:
Overview of F-gas across units;
Recording refrigerant types and maximum charges on assets - having this information readily available and retained within an asset register is especially useful for larger installations like air conditioning systems and walk-in refrigeration equipment, as well as older installations that may require refrigerant conversion;
Would be really useful to have this:
- Easily be able to see which Gases the appliances are on - aiding in Sustainability Projects, snapshot oversights for greener opportunities
- Greatly improve instant traceability of charges / recharges - The attachments can currently be added to Maintain only as a document which does not import that data, so requires manually invigilating each and every attachment.
- Would make it easier to spot problematic units, models and manufacturers and be able provide digestible data.
- Would make it much easier to complete sustainability accreditations (BCorp and the like)
Would be really useful to have this on the estate, especially when upgrading equipment to a more greener gas.
Would be very useful !
Great idea!
