Linked Occurrences to work on Sold Out Dates

Currently, the Linked Occurrences tool will only work on dates which are not live on the page it's being setup for. What would be great is if we could add a 'If Sold Out' option, meaning that if we've sold out on one of our events, we can pull through one of our other events on this date to direct guests towards via Linked Occurrences (useful for events which have multiple venues across the city, for example).
