Resdiary Integration

This is more of a development question for deposits with Epos & Rediary.


My ideal scenario is;


When bookings of 6 or more are made online or on the phone they are sent a payment link via stripe to email or phone, to pay a deposit of £25 per person.


If the deposit is not paid within 24 hours, the booking is automatically cancelled.


The deposit then attachs to the Resdiary booking.


When the Resdiary booking is opened on EPOS, you can redeem the deposit from the table as soon as you seat the table - alternatively it automatically does it (but you have the option to cancel it).



Just to explain what our current process is;


- Guest has to ring, we take payment over the phone using card sale on the pdq machine.


- We then write a manual note on Resdiary booking notes explaining deposit.


- Then have to load details of deposit onto Epos as deposit taken.


- We can't redeem the deposit until the table spend has gone beyond the deposit value.


- This means it often gets missed from removing from the bill and we then have to refund.



If you have a way of doing my ideal scenario amazing, but if you can give any suggestions to make our current process better that will also be great.
