Product Split Revenue

It would be useful to have the ability to split revenue on a single PLU for items that include both food and drink, such as Afternoon Tea, Champagne Breakfast, or Brunch.

Ideal solution:
This could be managed by using a condiment option that is automatically applied to the item when it is sold.

Example:

  • Champagne Breakfast PLU priced at £50.

  • Revenue split: £30 allocated to Food (Food Other category) and £20 allocated to Beverage (Drink Other category).

This way, revenue is correctly captured across categories. To get a breakdown per PLU, you would then pull an Options/Condiments report, which would isolate the product specifically.

This feature is possible now, but the missing functionality is the ability to automatically apply a condiment to a product. That is the enhancement needed otherwise requires staff to manually add the options.

Hope that makes sense and happy to discuss further. Split Revenue shouldn't be a discount as we want it to show as revenue - this way will do that.
