Currently, the system provides robust adjustment possibilities for Callouts, Remedials works (non-quoted) and PMVs you can adjust them as you so desire.
However, this level of control does not extended to Quoted works. Once a Quoted work is marked as completed, and that completion is inaccurately closed actual the actual work date has passed, it is not currently possible within the system to correct this, even if you have the accurate data.
This limitation leads to several functional and operational challenges:
Inaccurate Completion Dates in Site View:
Quoted works can display incorrect completion dates in the site and admin view.
There is no mechanism to retroactively correct these dates post-closure, which results in persistent data inaccuracies.
Auditing and Financial Oversight Impairments:
The inability to align completion dates with actual service delivery can obscure duplicate or unnecessary expenditure in auditing.
Automated flagging or validation processes cannot function correctly without accurate date data.
Inconsistent Data Handling Across Modules:
The disparity between how dates can be adjusted for Callouts/Remedials/PMVs vs. Quoted Works introduces inconsistency in data management practices.
Please consider introduce functionality that allows administrators (with the appropriate permissions) to retroactively adjust the completion date for Quoted works, similar to existing workflows for other work types (Callouts, Remedials, PMVs).
A demonstration video has been provided to Access to illustrate the current challenges experienced.
This will be another great addition to the system.
Would be a valuable addition to be able to do this
Great idea!
