To add a setting where you can select that all jobs must go to Price TBC when an attendance is logged for contractor to review, add notes and parts, and raise further works where needed.
If a site logs the visit, either for the wrong amount of time, without proper notes, or without understanding of the works required next, this can then be missed by the HD team if a contractor does not pick up on this issue. If the job is paid before contractor notices, then you have to raise a whole new job for the cost of the parts missing. If there are no notes added, it can pass under the radar when it may be urgent, business affecting works that need carrying out.
By forcing Price TBC on every job, it gives the contractor the chance to review all costs and notes and ensure the system is kept accurately by both contractor and helpdesk.
It is not feasible for the Helpdesk to check all jobs completed, and speak to contractors on the off chance things are missed, and not all jobs automatically fall into an invoice audit which could be a fail safe. We also don't want to solely rely on contractors reaching out to notify of the issues as this does not always happen and can impact business when missed.
