Compliance Issue: Incomplete Legal Entity Details on Contractor Communications

Despite the recent update on 25/08/2026 intended to meet UK Companies Act requirements for contractor-facing documents, the system currently remains non-compliant with UK law. While the update successfully added the organisation's legal entity name and address to communications, it lacks dedicated configuration fields for other mandatory trading disclosures. Under The Companies (Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2008, business correspondence and order forms must display specific legal information, which the current UI cannot accommodate. However this regulation is revoked and now replaced by The Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business (Names and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2015

Missing mandatory legal disclosure fields on contractor communications

Current behaviour

  • The system's updated configuration screen only captures the Company Name and Address. It is completely missing dedicated fields for the Company Registration Number (CRN), Place of Registration (e.g., Registered in England & Wales), and a Company Structure Declaration.

    Suggested Enhancement

  • Update the Business Entity configuration UI to include dedicated data fields for the Company Registration Number (CRN), Place of Registration, and Company Structure Declaration. Ensure these new fields map correctly to all contractor-facing communications so that issued documents fully comply with UK law.

This feels very important for larger companies.
