Some restaurants set a base rota as a template that's copied from Week to Week. This isn't a new idea as much as it's a function that previously existed on RR but has since been removed. If a restaurant is expecting a busy week or Day, they may want to staff a Tuesday as if it were a Friday, as they are expecting more revenue. Previously, one was able to delete the entire stack of Tuesday shifts (Sitting in "open shifts"), copy the Friday Stack and paste it into Tuesday, and now your Tuesday can accommodate Friday numbers. Its just a matter of drag and drop to assign shifts rather than having to rebuild the day to look like a friday. It's a huge time saver. You would also perhaps look at being able to copy a shift from "open Shifts" and paste it into "Open Shift" as currently you need to Copy from open shift. Paste into an employees slot and then unassign in order to get the shift back to open shifts.
