The labour breakdown report would show streams
and the Shift type/stream breakdown report would show site attribution.
Because individually neither of those reports can show attribution of streams, we're unable to take advantage of more than a few shift types.
The knock on effect of this being that if an employee is working across multiple functions during one shift, we have to set multiple shift types for them on that day and there is a need for them to clock in and out between each. The further knock on effect of this being that managers are allocating one shift type per day to each employee but it's not reflective of the functions they're actually doing. This then means they're having to create a secondary rota (in word of excel) to reflect what their teams are actually doing that day.
If site attribution of hours per stream could be attained in one report, this would mean we could allow our managers to create whatever shifts they wished, but made up of the streams we have set centrally.
