Salary treatment should use weekly salary divided by hours worked to calculate hourly pay.

Currently, salaried employees are reporting flexible pay amounts, so that if they underwork or overwork their contracted hours, the reporting shows they are paid more or less than their weekly pay. This is not desired behaviour as very rarely would a salaried person's weekly pay vary, if at all.

You already have an overtime facility, so there's no real value in having a flexible pay amount.

Currently the treatment takes weekly pay, divides it by the contracted hours, and times' it by the hours worked. This leads to inaccuracies when the hours vary.

Instead, it should take weekly pay, divide it by the hours worked. This would create a flexible "hourly pay" that would reflect when a salaried employee works more or less hours, so that their hourly pay would be higher or lower. But it will still ensure that weekly pay is never higher or lower than their salary would permit.

    It's also worth noting this is currently inconsistent with the other form of salary treatment which takes salaried pay and spreads it across all the days of the year. In that treatment, you would see no variance in pay but hours worked will show more or less pay. There's no reason why changing the salary treatment should result in two different reported results.
