Help us shape the future of our products by submitting your own ideas and reviewing ideas submitted by other users. If you see an idea you like, feel free to vote it up and add any comments that you feel would be beneficial.
This is a collaborative community, so please join in, contribute your innovative ideas and help our product teams to shape their roadmaps and future product development.

Our teams will review the ideas which have received the most votes on a regular basis, meaning that not all ideas will receive updates. When an idea has received enough votes, the status will be updated to 'Under Review' and then a decision made.

Option to edit an already authorised holiday request

Currently, for an employee to be able to edit/request new dates for an already authorised holiday they have to request to cancel the current one, wait for their line manager to authorise it (usually accompanied by an email to the line manager to highlight it needs doing), then they can log back in to put a new request in.

It's long winded and involves the process being passed back and forth between process operators.

Something along the lines of:

  • employee edits holiday request to new dates

  • Authorisation request goes to line manager

  • Approved dates stay in place until the new dates are either accepted or declined.

  • If declined, original holiday dates stay in place.

  • If accepted, new holiday dates are applied and any shifts that may have been added for those days are knocked off the rota.
