Improve Video Player

Looking to improve the embedded video player within console so creator and end user can;

  • Creators should be able to upload video caption files (VTT/SRT files) to a video on LOD/Campus

  • Users should be able to switch captions On/Off and/or choose from languages/caption options.

  • Users should be able to increase/decrease caption size

  • Users should be able to move the captions bar around the video screen

Benefits;

  • Assists users with hearing difficulties.

  • Can be used for translations of video content into other languages, assisting users with English as a second language

  • Improves clarity where subjects/recordings are unclear or muffled

  • Means there is no permanent 'burnt on' captions into the video that are affected by the video encoding process.
