Tonic & Brand Website Integration

Would it be possible to create widgets that are customisable and allow guests to actually book an event from there, even if the event has no tickets. Currently, if you click on an event e.g. 'Pub Quiz', which is free, you can't then see any details about it because the event is free with no tickets.

Hi! Thanks for raising this — great use case.

While we work on making ticketless events fully bookable via widgets, there are actually two workarounds available to you right now:

    Option 1 – Free tickets
You can create the event with free tickets. This way, guests can reserve a spot in advance, and you'll have full visibility on attendance numbers — no risk of people turning up to a full room.

Option 2 – Event Brand Page & Widget
If you'd rather not manage ticket registrations at all, you can use the Event Brand Page and widget. This lets you add a description, images, and a preview for the event, giving guests all the details they need even without a ticketing flow.

Option 1 is probably the best fit if you want to control capacity (e.g. for a Pub Quiz with limited seats). Option 2 works great if the event is truly open and you just want guests to be informed.

Hope one of these works for your setup — let me know if you need help getting either configured!
