Free Stock - Easy way to add into advanced stock

There must be an easy way to add free stock into the advanced stock control system.

I'm currently having to spend an eternity creating a balance order, adding products and then on here add discount to make it zero.

But when you look in advanced stock the delivery is still delivered in at the cost that is in Master Costs for that product line.

I then have to add up all the free stock we may have had and then add it on the Outlet Summary page as a nominal transfer out.

This then get the product line (consumption tab) showing a correct variance value and the Outlet Summary showing the correct overall variance.

But if you go onto the Consumption tab this still shows an incorrect total stock variance.

It just seems a crazy way to try and deliver in some free stock so you have a correct variance and the correct cos. Am I missing a huge trick?
