Pre-order Handling for Shared Dishes

As a restaurant manager at Glendola Irish Bars,
I want the pre-order system to correctly handle shared dishes like Chateaubriand,
So that two guests can be linked to one dish, allowing both to select their sides/sauces, and the pre-order is marked as complete without duplicating orders.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • When the shared dish is selected, two guests are automatically paired to the dish.

  • Each guest can choose their own sides and sauces for the shared dish.

  • The system should recognize that one shared dish serves two people, and the pre-order should not flag as incomplete.

Justification:

This will improve the accuracy of pre-orders for shared dishes, enhance customer experience, and reduce support cases related to incomplete orders.

Please see support case 66300505 that wasn't able to provide any workaround or resolution to the customer's request as we do not have this option available in the system.
