Access Hospitality - Ideas Portal

Help us shape the future of our products by submitting your own ideas and reviewing ideas submitted by other users. If you see an idea you like, feel free to vote it up and add any comments that you feel would be beneficial.
This is a collaborative community, so please join in, contribute your innovative ideas and help our product teams to shape their roadmaps and future product development.

Our teams will review the ideas which have received the most votes on a regular basis, meaning that not all ideas will receive updates. When an idea has received enough votes, the status will be updated to 'Under Review' and then a decision made.

Show the most recent revision date in the library view

We would like to suggest a change that will help users see when a document was last updated. At the moment, when we update a document by adding a new version, the library still shows the date the original file was first uploaded. This is confusing for users.

Some of our documents cannot be removed and replaced because they are linked to learning paths. So, we add a new version to the existing item. While this works fine in the system, the visible date in the main library does not change. It keeps showing the original upload date.

This causes problems for documents that need to be reviewed often. For example, we upload a new version of our food safety guide every three months. But the library still shows the first upload date, which means teams do not know there is a newer version.

The request is simple:
Please update the library view so that it shows the most recent upload date, not the original one. This date is already shown in other areas of the system, so it seems like it would just need to be shown in the main view too. Please also include the format DD/MM/YYYY to match the rest of the system.

This small change would help users find the most recent version of important documents more easily and avoid confusion.
