Additional fields to display in pay record for auditing

It would be good to be able to click into a pay record and see some additional fields such as:

  • Created By (Who created this pay record)

  • Created Date (When was the pay record first added to the system)

  • Last Modified By (See who last updated a pay record)

  • Last Modified Date (See the last time a pay record was updated)

Having these dates and names visible to the specific salary record would help to easily identify who created or amended a pay record and also when. This can be helpful when needing to check the employee audit log as there is no effective date for the salary displayed in this area and can become harder to track with multiple changes happening.

This change would also help to identify which payroll exports to check in case of any issues with the pay record exporting from HR to payroll as you can narrow down the time to when the pay was added/amended easily and check the batches around that time rather than looking through the audit log first.

Alternatively, it would also be good if the system could expand on the pay details in the audit log to include the effective date of the pay record to make clearer which record has been added or updated when reviewing the logs. The Salary GUID could also be present.
