This request would be to add new functionality to the Rota area of system where I can create tasks for items that should be completed as part of a rota shift and can be allocated to a shift either through the weekly rota view or by assigning specific tasks to a shift code.
A Rota Shift Task could be:
Cash/Till Float (e.g. balance the till float)
Cleaning Tasks (e.g. mop floor)
Turn off lighting (e.g. interior/exterior lights/signs)
Security Tasks (e.g. lock up/unlock, set the security alarm)
The employee in those shifts should then be able to complete the tasks completed through Self Service or via the mobile app. When an employee completes a task the completion time stamp should be logged for any required reporting by managers or for auditing.
It may also be beneficial for the ability to set some tasks to restrict the employees ability to clock out for the day until the task is marked as complete (e.g. the security styled tasks).
