Add validation when completing rota's to ensure all vacant shifts requests have been actioned

Presently, rotas are finalised even when there are pending vacant shift requests within the rota's time frame. This practice can lead to complications when a manager approves the request retrospectively after the rota details have been exported to Payroll. Implementing a validation system to prevent rota completion until all pending requests have been addressed will ensure accurate and timely payment processing, minimising discrepancies in employee compensation.

    Great idea!

    We have introduced this feature which will now prompt users completing rotas when there are pending vacant shift requests that have not been actioned and fall within the rota period being completed. A new global setting 'Enable Rota Rule for Pending Vacant SHift Request' has been added to allow System Administrators to toggle on and of this feature.

    Deployed to production in v2.43 (October 2023).
