Please consider adding 'Lists' functionality to cover monitoring actions / actions / complex remedial actions where they are not suitable as a 'remedial job' and clients need extra data in a better and less time consuming format than is currently possible on the system.
The way I currently envisage it would be another button on the site screen underneath Users / Odd Jobs - then underneath that button would sit another layer where you can create lists i.e. Pest Control, Legionella Control so they are separated - Plenty of screen space.
Core functionalities would be:
1) What the action required is (Free Text)
2) Date of action logged,
3) Ability to assign to an internal someone through the system (internal persons, site, operations manager, maintenance manager etc.),
4) A Priority allocation (or date returned by selection calendar) - with option to move the date once raised,
5) An option to duplicate the action on a frequency,
6) An option to choose whether it would require additional sign off (i.e. site can self certify, or site can mark as complete but must be reviewed by 'Maintenance Manager Tier' etc.
7) Completion date & notes, ability to upload documents/ pictures
8) That they are always visible (unless deleted)
Export functionality would be great for local council / EHO requirements.
