Contractors should receive better indications for active warranty 'assets' on the system and PO's

Contractors should receive better indications that an issue has been logged against an 'asset' that still has active warranty - from a contractor perspective the system / PO's do not give any indication whether the 'asset' still has an active warranty.

This is problematic for several reasons, including but not limited to:

- The warranty 'assignee' may not be able to actually conduct the work under warranty without getting prior approval from the manufacturer or in some cases the manufacturer must dispatch their own engineers - without the status of the warranty being displayed on the system / PO's it is very easy to miss this and can result in revenue loss, warranty voiding etc.

- Because of the above mentioned the warranty durations / lists need to be stored externally by the contractors which creates extra admin, friction and this in itself can be very prone to human error furthermore very easily missed in busy/ high stress situations.

Recent examples attached, with 'confidential' data removed.

This is a great one, adjusting as described would allow better clarity for all parties.

Lack of warranty confirmation at point of job release delays response times, increases process and potentially voids warranty. Allows room for human error whereby non warranty equipment is attended due to lack of clarity. Largely relies on supplier maintaining separate records and taking the time to double check the details.
